With confidence and enthusiasm, under the tutelage and direction of Artistic Director Dorothy Barnhart, Chorale Connecticut continues to entertain and inspire the community. And though 2009 has proven to be a year when many have had to overcome the challenges of the worst recession in generations, we carry on with optimism and hope, guided by our core belief that music can keep us centered and help to heal the spirit.

Chorale Connecticut is coming off a season where our spring concert honored our country, the land, the men and women who have served with honor and bravery. The involvement of the Southington High School Jazz Ensemble added an additional dimension of energy and improvisation. Your support and appreciation made this a huge success.

We are delighted to announce that this year's holiday concert, “In Joyous Spirit”, will provide a multicultural choral experience with traditional carols and audience participation. All this, and special accompaniment provided with harp, guitar, flute, and the marimba. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 5th.
